Here’s something I’ve never made before. A “Bean Table” for a new coffee house in downtown Austin, scheduled to open at the end of this week. The place roasts its own beans, which will need somewhere to go after they’re done. This table will store them in bins below, which can be easily brought out and sampled by customers.
A friend suggested that I shape the top to celebrate the product itself. I love how it came out, especially the tiger maple inlay down the middle.
And now I want some coffee.
A true artist is the only person who could have produced this piece, and that my friend is what you are. I love your work.
